As human beings we have the amazing ability to recover from trauma and injury. Throughout our lives we adapt and refine our capabilities, and restore healthy function. We naturally attain higher levels of performance artistically and athletically.
However, we can also find ourselves in patterns of movement which result in chronic pain, stiffness, and unneeded stress on our joints and muscles. These patterns are very often below our level of awareness. We can be at a loss as to how to help ourselves.
Through the Feldenkrais Method® we can reverse the effects of self-limiting patterns of movement, greatly ease or eliminate pain, gain flexibility and rediscover our natural healthy functioning. The very quality of our lives can be enhanced immeasurably.
